Minneapolis Child Photographer :: Fun at Train Park

Last week I had such a great time following these two beautiful kids around as they played on the swings and the train at “Train Park”. I can’t get over the perfect blond hair and blue eyes. I took their pictures almost a year ago and it was so fun to see how much they have changed and grown in that time.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep :: NILMDTS

I am very honored to announce that I have become an approved photographer with NILMDTS. This wonderful organization introduces remembrance photography to parents who have suffered the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. Click here to visit their website.

I imagine this honor will be hard but I realize how important these photographs are to parents as I, too, have experienced loss during pregnancy. In the coming weeks I will go though specific training for NILMDTS. The Today show did a piece on NILMDTS. You can watch it here.

Minneapolis Photographer :: Trash the Dress

A couple weeks ago Ali Gray and I headed down to the Stone Arch Bridge to have a little fun in the Mississippi River. The water was cold and there was a funny little duck following Ali wherever she went. Ali wasn’t too keen on the duck but was a great sport wading barefoot with fish bones in dirty water. In the end, we had fun with this shoot and got a few cool shots. Ali’s fiancée joined us & I couldn’t resist including a cute shot of the two of them together.
