Chrissy and Shawn met, fell in love, built a house, and got married… but that’s not all!
Chrissy and Shawn both got ready in Downtown Minneapolis which made for some fantastic rooftop wedding party pictures during the snow. Everyone braved the cold and wet to take some great winter wedding pictures. The fresh snow was so magical! We also were able to take a break from the snow and warm up in the Minneapolis City Hall for some shots of the lovely bride and groom too! There’s so many great background to explore. Of course since we were in the area, we headed to the Guthrie Theater and Mill City Museum and spent some time taking pictures there too!
Then off to one of my favorite venues, Dayblock Brewery in downtown Minneapolis where Shawn and Chrissy said I DO during the candlelit ceremony. The reception was held at Dayblock and catered by Green Mill. Then came the big surprise! Shawn and Chrissy announced to everyone that they are going to have a baby! It was so fun to be able to capture all the emotions from everyone, especially Chrissy’s parents. But that wasn’t all! Then Chrissy had a surprise for Shawn. Colored Christmas lights came on and she got to announce to Shwan that they are having a BOY!
