I met Nichole over seven years ago. We were both pregnant and met though a local birth group. She was expecting Samuel, her third boy, and I was expecting Elliott. Over the course of our pregnancy I was able to get to know Nichole and her family and looked up to her parenting style. She was such an inspiration to me. After we had our babies, I would text Nichole in the middle of the night whenever Elliott had a high temperature, or I didn’t know how to handle being a new mom, and then later when I had a million and one questions about homeschooling. She would give me suggestions but mostly, she was there for me when I needed someone. She is one of the best mothers I have ever known. Nichole and Russ have three boys of their own and have have an adopted daughter. I have had the honor to be able to capture their family though so many of their special moments. But they just knew their family was not complete and God blessed them with a beautiful girl. Lucy. She looks just like each of her brothers depending on what angle you happen to catch her. She’s very alert and loves all the attention she gets from those big brothers of hers. She is definitely the princess and nobody better mess with her or they will have all three big brothers to contend with. Welcome, Lucy Faith Deborah.. you are so loved, so wanted, so protected, and such an amazing gift. Love you, Branjords. Thank you for letting me capture all these amazing memories in your lives. It’s been an incredible honor.
