Hello folks! It’s amazing what a little sunlight will do for your mood. Sure, rain is in the forecast but that means the snow will melt faster. For this, I am thankful! I’m also thankful for one, Ali Gray.
I met Ali many moons ago when she joined the Martin Zellar Neil Diamond tribute show that my husband was a part of. Ali was the “new girl” that joined the band when the original back up singer moved to Los Angeles. We were skeptical. Ali was super cute (she still is of course!) and sang her heart out… but she was still the new girl… poor girl. Do you remember being the new kid on the block when you where a kid? Trying to make friends in an already established bunch of brats? But Ali is full of grace and has a big heart, something we all soon found out, and she blended in with the group and the wives like she had been there for years. As the years passed, I have become best of friends with Ali. We have seen each other through the good times and the bad times. Ali is a true gem. Last November Ali released her second solo album, Johnson Street. I was able to follow along with her in her journey as she recorded Johnson Street. Then I had the honor to photograph the CD release party at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis. Words cannot express how proud I am of Ali and how blessed my family is to have her part of our lives. And I think that everyone should run over to CDBaby and buy her album!
