On a daily basis, I find that the world speeds by me way to fast. We get stuck in our daily routines and forget to stop to breath. We need to inhale. Enjoy the air, the smells, the sights… the same things that we see everyday but we never actually take time to stop and appreciate them. With my son growing up way to fast, I have made a point out of stopping to “smell the roses” daily. I want the feeling to last forever but it can’t. Thank goodness the world has photography. We can capture those feeling in a single image, allowing the feelings to last a lifetime. We can look back on that image years from now and a flood of emotions and senses come back to us in an instant.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out in Minneapolis with two other fantastic photographer friends. We spent hours in Minneapolis, enjoying the sights, the smells, and time together. Plus, who else is willing to ‘talk shop’ for 4 hours straight without getting bored? Thank you Lisa and Jessica for a fantastic evening out. Here are a few images I captured on our photowalk when I stopped to enjoy the moment.
Love and Peace, Michelle
