It’s officially summer and it’s already going too fast! My son will be 2 in a little over a month, my husband and I renewed our vows for our 10th anniversary and I have veggies growing in my garden. Tonight I get to see one of my favorite musicians, Tom Petty! I’m a very happy girl.
Since my husband was playing a couple shows at Moondance Jammin Country, last Friday I was lucky enough to spend the day up in Walker with him. I have spend a few years at Moondance and I always come home with a big smile on my face. Awesome music, friends and tailgating… it’s always a great time. We were going to come home on Friday night but we had so much fun we ended up staying. This week I’ll be post each of the bands I was able to photograph.
First up is Granger Smith. I hadn’t heard of Granger until I read the line up for Moondance. Granger is from Austin, Texas and he is as polite as you would expect and his band was energetic on stage. The chorus hits fast in his songs and the instrumentation is exactly what today’s country is all about. And the fans agree; he has had 3 top 10 singles!
